Thread: Which US based forex broker to go with?

That is who I exchange with (Oanda). I have no complaints. The only thing I wish I could do is trade metals, this is 1 reason I looked into going offshore. I don't understand why you can't trade Gold and Silver with the US brokers. What is the motive behind this?

Without description it looks odd when anybody recommend at any broker.
I ask for all , please do not recommend at any brokers which you haven't utilized or verified.

The way you recommend that your trading brokers
describe or shortly it does not matter I think.
    But Why you recommend
this ought to be describe. Otherwise it seems incomplete

This is the US regulations idea of shielding the trader. Authorities is such a scam, so they simply need everyone back in the futures market, it's the ONLY reason why these stifling Foreign Exchange rules exist.

View, the regulations are so absurd, people from different countries post with great intentions not realizing US can simply trade at 2 brokers and they provide all the wonderful conditions I posted previously.

The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 enacted by US Congress which became effective July 15, 2011 prohibits US residents from trading within the counter leveraged or margined foundation precious metals including gold and silver. Consequently, firms were prohibited from offering these kinds of contracts to the retail public unless the contracts were traded on-exchange. The Act can be found here: https://www.fdic.gov/regulations/ref...tions.html#742

As a US resident, you are able to exchange unleveraged gold and silver the only way to trade leveraged gold and silver using a US broker is via futures. That said, our parent company GAIN Capital offers futures. You can even use the identical login information to exchange gold and silver futures with Daniels since you use to exchange currencies with us.

You're speaking about Oanda and FXCM right? Yeah they're both MM Brokers but that does not matter if you're a skilled trader.

Just adding my two cents. Have you ever considered any multimarket brokers such as Interactive Brokers, TD Ameritrade, etc? I haven't had any issues and have use TDA. I believe a lot of people forget about some of those brokers when seeking to exchange FX exclusively.
