Thread: First time with real money and I need help to choose between 3

Hello, I understand this is a really boring and common question from newbies in forex but I have already searched a lot before submitting this and the more I look the less I see, it is always the same, everytime I read some review about the brokers I look at the comments and so are always people saying bad things others saying good things and I get confused.

After a lot of search I decided to select between this three: ActivTrades, FXpro and GlobalPrime .

That is my first time with very money, I only want to deposit 500 and my profit won't be so excellent. I am from Portugal, Europe, there's a problem with globalprime since it's from australia?

What's your opinion about this particular three? Would you know the other one better?

    Thanks for your time

(I dont know if I can mention GlobalPrime, if not please delete it and the choice will be between 2 brokers)

why would you opt for these three or two, what would be your criterias?

Hey Manel, maxim asks a question which you ought to consider carefully before using real money. For instance, I think FXPro is a good choice if your looking for an ECN broker. Plus they offer the cTrader platform that's ideal for ECN. MT4 is a superb platform but it can be interfered with from a broker (im not a programmer so I can't describe why). If your looking for spreads another broker might be more suitable. Great luck may the pips be together with you.

I had been quite pleased with FXPro when I was there. The reason gave Canadians the boot.

Forget about ActivTrades. They're a pure market maker broker which means that they trade against you and you will only profit if they lose and of course they won't lose so you won't profit when you trade with them.

FXPro and GlobalPrime will be the same. They're both what's called STP brokers that act as ECN brokers when you trade sizes are always profitable and act as a market maker to you in the event that you trade small dimensions and are not that profitable. Considering you will deposit $500, chances are they will act as market maker to you. You may read about what STP brokers do right here. Http://www.financemagnates.com/forex...y-are-part-22/ Now the two of these assert that they hedge their trades so that they do not trade against you personally and that still needs to be viewed. The only issue is using FXPro, they've FXPro UK Limited two companies and FXPro Financial Services Limited. Only FXPro UK Limited is authorized and regulated by FCA, the financial regulatory body that was real, Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission which really isn't the same regulate another one. Ensure That Your account is with FXPro UK Limited.

So if I had been you, I would choose either FXPro UK Limited or GlobalPrime. At least is a chance that they trade less and do hedge against my trades.

Could you give some resources or prove for your promises?

I've a dozen of live trading accounts, and guess what - ActivTrades is part of the quite diversified basket. The account is highly profitable (I'm not speaking about 10 bucks) and running for something like a year. Withdrawal and support is competetive to everything you strike elsewhere.
That doesn't make them a fantastic broker however. Their data feed is slow and they've troubles that are frequent. So reliability isn't their strength. Your statement is imho untrue.

this makes me curious since this can be stated on ff. Mt4 ea's can be flashed to ctrader using calgo, so what is stopping a broker from doing this?

This is the first time that I search for brokers with atention, until I simply played demo accounts and that I was not paying atention when they were good or bad, when the spreads were low or high, etc.....

My criterias to opt for this 3 has been basically the remarks from other men and women. That's why I asked for your comments, I am not a specialist in this topic and I think I only can acquire some expertise my choosing one and wanting it, the problem is that I want to pick out a great one in the beginning since this 500$ aren't to lose.

Really thank you for your answer, I am planning to go for FXPro, the truth that they are regulated by FCA helps a lot, as you'd cite. Thank you very much.
