Thread: Which of these Australia or New Zealand brokers?

Which of Those brokers are worth a try; Axitrader, PFD nz, Global Prime, ICmarkets, Darwinex, FXPIG, Tickmill, DirectFX, Dukascopy?

Preferably a broker from Australia or New Zealand please because I live 'down under'

Getting back into trading I'm searching for a reputable regulated broker using low spreads(for scalping long term trades) minimal slippage. Would any of you traders be able to recommend any from any other decent one or the above please out?

I'm aware that most brokers are merely wolves in sheep clothing. . I've gone to look at testimonials on brokers and they appear to have testimonials that make me wish to avoid trading completely.

Well, here is hoping I will find some fantastic guie or recommendation from some of you on this forum.

Or am I better off looking at trading futures which has greater regulation?

I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Pepperstone. I trade out of New Zealand. I've been using them for around three decades. Spreads are reduced, implementation is enough. Customer service is responsive and considerate.

Between AU and NZ regulators. AU is more powerful modifiions in ASIC regulations dictate that brokers require insurance coverage on clients funds. (demand CS to ship u a copy of their insurance coverage).

With respect to slippage and disperse and execution pricing, nothing is ideal. It's difficult to tell as it mostly depends upon market conditions/aggregator. One that slide now, may not slide tomorrow. Same goes for disperse.
U may want to start cent/demo accounts with of the brokers u have shortlisted and use this to find the one that is quite consistent to other brokerages. https://tradeproofer.com/

    Hey Moyes,

Only remember that although on the surface you might think it's best to trade with a local NZ regulated broker, there are serious issues with how loose your regulations are and basically anyone that wants to open a brokerage can.

At , we've got a large number of New Zeland customers on our publiion trading from across the dutch and enjoying the peace of mind which comes with ASIC regulation. Definitely open some ECN demo accounts and do some study on spreads, slippage and if these items change when you scale your trading dimensions.

    Good luck!

Not every broker is going to get an insurance coverage nonetheless. This business is going to have a year to comply with the new principle, I think beginning from November 2016.
Wonder which broker has this insurance in place right now?

    Hey ,

Most brokers place their demos to expire after 30 days of usage. This encourages the client to go or stay in contact if they want to reset for the following 30.

If you're looking for a non-expiring demo account, check out our https://www.vantagefx.com/forex-trad...unt-unlimited/ here. Open an unfunded live account and you can demo trade indefinitely without having to be flashed.

Thanks for response. I will try yours. Am a swing trader. Market can trend for months, as you known. If brokers can close demo where they do not gain, what would occur when it's $? This means withdrawing profit will probably be harder than robbing a Central bank

Quite humorous remark Demo trading is quite terrible method of learning (so 30 times is enough to check conditions), you understand far more on actual account because of actual market conditions. On demo account there are no slippages, orders do not impact market, so it is really much better to learn on account even with 0,01 lot.

From ASIC regulated brokers that the top are IC Markets and Pepperstone, much better spreads than other Australian brokers.
