I am currently using ThinkMarkets and they alter leverage to but also I am looking for a new broker with spreads and commissions. I have shortlisted few of them:

    1) Pepperstone: nearly like ThinkMarkets, but greater commissions, and I am looking forward to negotiate with them when they will offer me better conditions. Be aware that however large is the deposit they still allow you to utilize a 1:500 leverage

    2) IC Markets: Tighter spreads, also to be negotiated with, and same as above in regards to leverage

    3) Darwinex: Restricted spreads and commissions but in the event of FCA's new principles I would be hesitant to deal with a UK broker until it's apparent.

    4) Tradeview: The best in regards to spreads and commissions, the nearest to being a true ECN because their leverage is 1:100, stop-out amount at 100 percent and been operational since 2004.

    5) Invast: They don't provide a demo account but I think their spreads are tighter than Tradeview and commission is1.5 each side.

I expect people would provide a straight forward response to the thread starter according to experience.

    Cheers,

Edit: additional Invast to the list.

I wonder which did you select a broker?

For anyone who is trading outside the 'regular retail realm' just be certain broker you select has the tools and knowledge required to help you in maintaining your profitability.

Only a general idea or question. If one would want to invest 100k into Forex but is afraid about placing all their eggs into one basket doesnt one deposit lets say 10k but exchange as you want a account. With proper MM that you wouldnt be risking over that 10k a transaction. So if the first couple of transactions are if they are cashout or winner persist. Am I missing something? What is the advantage of this bigger account?

This is that I did. Employed leverage to my benefit, to not increase a risk. I used 20% of my deposit and remainder of money remained in bank account. Worked very well.
