They make enough profit together with the new rules? This is perplexing. Why can they do this?

I hope so too, however Dukascopy is Swiss so I don't think they will buy into the madness.

I don't understand how they could give us to work out this. I will lose a lot of cash on long term places I've built because of the new margin rules.

Is it appropriate that in case my margin has been 200:1 and today will be 50:1 that I have to come up with 4x times the margin I had with my open positions? So for example, say I had one standard lot opened my margin was $200 but now it will be $1000 for this normal lot?

I just cannot believe they are only giving us a week....if it was a month that would be much more fair to us. But I guess since we are not institutional customers they don't give a crap. What $@#%wits! I hope they are hunted by karma down and therefore # ts on them too!

BTW...I never curse on forums. . .but I sensed it is a must!

Oh and I've got a UK account and it appears it is impacting all accounts that are not institutional.

I agree. A one week notice to their clients does suck. I'd have expected from a respectable broker.

Additionally....how can they transfer international accounts into a US company. . .wouldn't they will need to transfer the accounts to some company in the exact same area as the first account....for example, my UK account would need to be moved into another UK account?

I am so angry. I cannot believe them.

This wouldn't be a problem if they would transfer my account to another broker in the UK. . .its the new crap in the US that's going up my world * to # $ @.
