Thread: ECN brokers... Ever reverse trades?

I have been trading with Hotspotfx for almost two months and I am happy with the change, but I have a question for people who've been trading in Hotspot or some other ECN for a longer peroid of time. I see that the transactions I close do not get added to my balance before following three business days. My question is, has anyone ever had a commerce that didn't get additional after 3 days? Like was there ever a time that you had a trade stuffed on an ECN and them reverse it afterwards, saying it was an error or something? I am aware that this happened to me a couple of times at Oanda and frequently told that a spike was a false quote over in MIG. However, I have not observe any problem like that in Hotspot yet. If anyone has ever had a trade reversed with an ECN please let me know. Thanks.

Not personally. My broker at the time sent an email to everybody who certain trades had been busted by the exchange because of a malfunction in the price feed. I think that the instrument was mini-SP on CME Globex.

They'll float a trade if there was a technical malfunction. That is why you must sign the digital trading agreement. I've never heard of these reversing one differently.

Bizarre, this isn't a T3 system like trading stocks. You understand Knight Capital, one of the MM from the stock world owns hotspot.

Thanks for the feedback Ken. And it's wonderful to know that it hasn't happened to you either. I'm more and more pleased with my choice to decide on an ECN.
