View Full Version : How to implement a trailing stop with a trading bot?
I am interested in configuring a dynamic trailing stop for my cryptocurrency operations, but my platform does not support it directly.Does anyone have experience implementing this with a trading bot or an external software?

Yes, most trading bots such as 3commas, Cryptohopper or Zignaly allow you to configure dynamic trailing stop. You just have to adjust the conditions to activate the trailing once a certain level of gain is achieved.

You can also consider writing a personalized script if you have programming knowledge.Platforms such as Metatrader allow advanced scripts, and you can configure exactly how and when your stop moves.

Cryptohopper and 3commas have robust options for Trailing Stops and are quite easy to configure.Be sure to read the documentation well and adjust the settings according to your strategy.

If you do not have experience with bots, start with one that has a friendly interface and active support to help you with the trailing stop configuration.Do not file the most complex without having tried something simple.

In TrainingView you can also write personalized scripts with Pine Script to manage Trailing Stops. This gives you total control over the Stop Loss movement strategy.

Remember that although the bots are useful, they are not infallible.Keep an active monitoring of your operations and adjust the parameters regularly to adapt to the changing conditions of the market.
