View Full Version : My trading delusions
This is my personal diary to share my operations and ideas, without the noise of the rest. What do banks do to protect their money when a move occurs? So, where are those orders? Where is it that most traders lose money? In which areas does the market show shy to cross? What is the sense of opening an operation when there is no money left in those gaps?
The best way to operate is to analyze from high to low time frames, to run entries in 1 minute chart. This makes it easier to adjust the stop loss to the minimum possible. You have to detect where the commands are and run them there. CADJPY in 5 minute chart and H4.
Because of the spread the command was not activated. I should have added the spread when setting limited commands. 5-minute chart on NZDUSD.
In the USDCAD operation, the stop loss was 2 pips (RR 1:15).
Trade in EURUSD with M1 chart. One noticed a clear fakeout in high time frame. Orders were consumed from that minimum and broke to a new maximum.
Trade in USDCHF with stop Loss of 3 pips.
Another trade with GBPJPY.
Transaction in EURUSD with risk/benefit ratio 1:10.
Order pending in GBPUSD. Another coin release.
Last week's pending order in GU was executed. RR 1:10.
I'm very excited about how you're improving my trading system every day.
I lost that operation in AUDCAD, there was no confirmation in high time frame and I mischosen the level. Another pending order added in AUDCAD.
Operation in GBPUSD based on clean orders left at flag limits. Why did I take this operation? Look at the previous flag, the price went back to it. Many clean orders left there. RR 1:10.
This operation was a late entry, but it still had a good risk-benefit ratio, so I went in. Confirmation at XAUUSD.
Trade in AUDUSD, SC-style manual.
Operation in EURUSD that was not executed for just 0.5 pips.
Trade in AJ manually closed, flag opening confirmation.
Over time I understood some concepts, and now I know where to look for those 2P areas. Entering those areas generates good profits with little risk. In the low timeframes there are other breakout entries that end up consuming. Those marked areas are expected even before the movement, because they contain clean orders. Thats what I call orderflow.
USDCHF, finally a good trade after a loss streak.
GBPUSD, closed for fear of losing profits. Watching the profit rise and fall is unbearable to me.
A profit-making operation ended in loss. Seeing that hurts, almost breaks my heart.
Make this a daily ritual: reread this article full of ideas that will help you understand the market. Trading is not just transactions, it is understanding the story behind the price. Why is it there? Where is it going? The price is your best compass, it has all the clues to decipher the secrets of the market. We do not do random operations; we execute them in clear areas of supply and demand. We analyze the Price Action (PA)
How do you find ZONES OF INTEREST? Left Shoulders Support/Resistance Pre Consolidation Engulf towards consolidation We start by marking levels from the highest time frame. FLs that have wrapped a level Start and end consolidation QM Levels formed in lower or higher R/S extremes When the price touches flag levels, H/L is formed and packets of orders are exhausted. We look for FLs derived from those engulf. New FLs can be formed if the H/L of the FL itself is wrapped. Consolidation: They interest the start of the CP and the MPL. If the Pre-CP is wrapped, the next goal is the end of the CP. Entry: Consider the main FL, the MPL, or a FL between both with key conditions. MPL: In low timeframes, identify traps on the left side, then project the level and detects quires. REACTION PA: If the price comes out of FL, makes a gulf and returns, looks for reaction. If it comes to the target and returns, it, it looks at the PA in low timeframes.
Adaptability Rules: Review and adapt your system according to the current market. Difference between trend and side markets. Have signs indicating when NOT to operate. Discipline Rules: Define what discipline is for you in trading. Do not allow emotions to decide. Reflect if you break your rules. Have clear goals in each operation. Inputs and Outputs: No blind intuition. Defined criteria for entering and leaving. Understand the context before acting. Trends: Prioritize trades in favor of the trend. Beware of countercurrents: more risks and less return.
Forex Trading Plan Objective: to achieve constant profitability with clear rules, controlling risks. Principles: Discipline: no impulsive decisions. Flexibility: adapts if the market changes. Risk Management: do not risk more than the % allowed per trade. Strategy: Reaction, not prediction. Granular analysis. Flag limits and engulfing patterns as a base. Plan B to unexpected events. Continuous learning. Realistic financial expectations. System limits: Beware of the illusion of perfection. Don't over-fit. Accept that the market cannot be controlled at all. Avoid predictions: Don't guess the market. Use TA and FA as tools, not oracles. Prepare for black swans. Entry and analysis: Avoid throwing coins. Analyze with depth. Emotion and drawdowns: Emotional stability before negative streaks. Learn from each trade. Weekly review and adjustments. Use analogies (such as driving
Dangers of operating on small scales: entry was perfect, but not the target. Another lesson.
Two outstanding orders in GBPUSD.

You're on the right track, but you're missing one thing: rest your mind. Not even the best analysis works with your head burned.
I still don't understand why you operate on M1. It's like driving a Ferrari in an alley, you're gonna crash sooner or later.

There's something I respect: you're doing what many people don't do. Documenting your trip, whether it's right or wrong, requires eggs.
With so much RR 1:10 anyone would think you live in Disneyland. The real market does not forgive those tales.

Good work with EURJPY. Emotional management seems to be working better than before.
Honestly, more than delusions, this looks like a price surgeon's diary.

Have you thought about using fewer indicators and relying more on price action? Less noise, more clarity.

The losses you mention are painful, but they're also the ones forging real traders.
That AUDUSD trade was manual, clean and blunt entry, it's nice to see that in between crazy scalping.

Thank you for sharing that analysis on PA and areas of interest. It has made me rethink some setups.
I don't know if you're crazy or just more awake than all of us, but keep posting, that this entertains.

And risk management where is it? Because from 1:10 to 1:10 you can melt without realizing it.
I'm telling you with respect, you're over-analyzing too much, the paralysis by analysis is real.

What a piece of entry into XAUUSD! Too bad there was no capture, I would have liked to see that exact point.

I've read your whole diary and I think you should turn this into a blog. You have talent for narrating and teaching.
I wish someone had told me earlier about the fakeouts on M1. You would have saved me a lot of tears.

Sometimes it seems more like you're fighting the market than operating it. Relax and watch.

That orderflow analysis is pure gold. Few understand how to read it well. I congratulate you.
You need to add a rule: do not operate if you haven't slept well. Tiredness is the trader's enemy.
