ABOUT ME: My name is Warren B., I'm 39 years old and I divide my time between Lausanne, London and New York. It's not easy to fall in love with an American and live in peace. I live on trading and use three different EAs. I'm too lazy to operate manually. I'll be happy to read constructive suggestions or reviews about my operations whenever you want. Sometimes it surprises me how the EA reacts in side ranges. Today it seemed like it was going to take off and ended up in break-even. It�s frustrating, but I prefer zero to loss. Although it�s costing me not to intervene manually, I know it�s part of the process. I�m thinking of slightly adjusting the EA�s trailing stop with breakeven, but I don�t want to break the balance you�ve had so far. I�m going to do some offline simulations before playing anything in real. Ideas are accepted.

Week without transactions in the EA account with momentum. EURUSD did not give a single clear signal to enter. Nothing happens, not losing is also part of the game. I prefer a blank week to force tickets and end up bleeding capital. Patience is a greatly underestimated virtue in this business.

I have read several comments for private saying that using three EAs is too much. Sorry? And who told you that success in forex is based on operating less? Diversifying methods is a form of protection, not weakness. Each EA has its logic, its temporality and its style. The mistake is to put all the eggs in the same strategy, and cry when the market gives you a kick. I prefer to be covered.

Today the EA without breakeven almost gets a beautiful gain. He played the TP by spread but the broker did not execute. I will not complain, but fuck. Next time I will consider closing manual when it is 1-2 pips of the TP. I save the courage. Sometimes automating is more psychological than technical.

I update fast: week without glory or tragedy. Three operations, one loss, two break-even. In total -47� in the account without breakeven. I have lived weeks like this. They are the ones that train your head so you do not get out of the plan. Trading is not adrenaline, it is resistance.

I'm testing an EA 1 variant where the stop Loss fits if the ATR goes too low. We'll see if it improves the ratio. For now in backtest it looks promising, but we already know that demo everything seems easier. I'll soon share the results.

I have been asked if these results that I publish are real. Of course they are. What sense would I make them up? To impress strangers on the internet, no thanks. I am not selling courses or signals. I am only showing what I do because it served me to read to others when I started.

One thing that is not said much: the EA with breakeven keeps you with good morals. Even if you lose several times, when it is right it is noticed. It is not perfect, but it gives you confidence that at least you are not throwing dice at each trade. The logic behind it is solid.

Today a false entry into the account without breakeven cost me �136. It�s okay, but it was one of those times where you knew I didn�t have to go in. The good thing is that I learned. The bad thing is that the EA doesn�t. Sometimes I feel like programming a conscience.

Little action this week. The weekly EA breakout didn't open anything. Too much noise, no definition. That's how it is. At least it didn't lose, something is. It's better a still EA than an impulsive EA.

My rule of closing all Friday afternoon saved me again. EURUSD broke down on Sunday for unexpected news. If I had left an open position, I would be crying today. Sometimes boring rules save you from disaster.

I have received reviews for not having a fixed take profit. So what? The market does not move for your comfort. I let you run the winnings. Do you prefer to win 20 pips with fixed TP or let run 100 with a little patience? Each decides how you want to do this. I prefer the second one.

This week I added two more pairs to the momentum EA radar, just in demo. GBPUSD and USDCHF. I want to see if they adapt to the system. I have no intention of over-operating. Just watch how the algorithm reacts under different conditions.

The diary is working more than I expected. Reading my mistakes and cold hits helps me more than I imagined. I recommend everyone to do it. Even if it is on paper, even if no one reads it. Trading without self-consciousness is roulette.

They asked me if I thought about using trailing stop in all EAs. The answer is no. Not all systems tolerate that adjustment. Some setups need space to breathe. Put a trailing stop to everything just because it sounds good is recipe for disaster.

Today it operated the EA without breakeven. Decent entry, but closed for SL -52�. Nothing serious. It was a logical entry, well executed, but failed. So it has to be. Not everything that does not win is error. The market does not always pay you.

Fucking week. There�s no other way to say it. Two stops followed in the account without breakeven. I lose -423� in total. It�s not the end of the world, but it hurts. And worst of all, both trades were technically valid. Sometimes you just lose.

I want to make it clear that this newspaper is not to boast. It is to record the reality of trading, without filters or false promises. If you are looking for easy profitability, you are in the wrong place. Here is sweat every euro earned.

The EA with breakeven this week made three entries. Two in BE, one with a profit of 64�. It was not spectacular, but at least it ended green. I still trust this robot. It is the most conservative, but also the most stable.

I am looking forward to publishing the backtest of the modified EA breakout version. I am waiting to complete two months of data. Patience is not only for entries. You also have to have it with the tests.

I'm seeing that the EA without breakeven is overoptimizing the inputs. That can be a double-edged weapon. Less operations, but more forceful. We'll see if it translates into better performance or just more anxiety waiting.

I can't help but laugh when someone tells me that EAs are for bums. Excuse me? Do you know what it takes to design, test and tune one? Vagos are the ones who operate by intuition and are surprised when they lose.

This week alone the EA of momentum moved. Two trades: a slight loss and a gain that almost covers everything. Result: -18�. Not bad for a week with so little movement. Sometimes surviving is winning.
