It doesn't seem to be a lot of quantity. . .perhaps that is only the quantity that they've had at that specific broker. Fx all tolled will 2 trillion dollars a day that I heard. As soon as I began in FX I asked my broker why no one appears to have a volume chart, and their response was that there is no'fundamental' clearing place to take a count.

I have to acknowledge a universal quantity indior will be fine....but I'd think with somebody counting all volume I'd have to pay for this in spreads (as could everybody else)!

The statement is indeed true. That is 2 dollars in total contract face value per day.

More interestingly you will also see real time volume in millions, where are they getting this quantity indior?
