Thread: Looking For A New Broker Since Boston Prime Went Bankrupt

Interesting article, but the positive could be that at ASIC has their business practices at thier finger ideas, unlike a number of other brokers who have never been audited yet.

Sounds business as usual for me, not about to withdrawal my cash.

    TheBodyGaurd,

    Don't be tricked by trolls.

I have a Razor account that's basically std for others. You may also attempt International Prime, ThinkForex, FXTG possess a broader choice of indexs, CFD's etc..

Thanks Cogs I Love the input.

And I will certainly explore the other brokers you mentioned.

People are mad I got a PM from a man with two articles saying that he had an account with boston prime as well. Referring me to some broker I've never heard of. As if I dont

recognize its a solicitation to some hack broker

And this man wants to chime in on the thread along with his conspiracy theory

A little off topic, However, Popped Around to ASIC and found That:

No big deal Really, IMO. Undoubtedly ASIC looked over the operations of the business at the same time, so for me that this really instills confidence compared to other cases listed below this one.

I visit ASIC have behaving on, and shutting down another brokers, and have suspicions of other brokers offering services outside Australia. Glad to see they are being proactive.

Cogs that's not a deal breaker for me as it does not outline anything being done that would intentionally hurt a Trader just the fact they're not regulated to run

business in Japan is not any big deal.

You understand most of these huge brokers are fined for slippage and that definitely affects a Traders bottom line. So I would not ever think about using one of them

Any Broker that lived the CHF fiasco and is properly regulated in a Known jurisdiction.

And that seems to run business normally is of interest to me.

Those are the ones I want to hear from current or previous account holders.

Since they're the ones that are most likely going to be around some time.

Nothing is ensured or ideal you just need to make the most edued decision with the Information you have.

Yes they are a part of the identical group. I'm also caught up together since their announcement earlier this week. I hope that they can get this sorted out quickly with the FCA so that we could get some money back.

My currently former account rep at BP said I must have some news now (friday jan 31) concerning the adminiors being assigned, unfortunately nothing has come within my mails yet.

Judging from how the Alpari situation has been treated we should find an upgrade within the upcoming few days about who is going to function as adminiors and what should get done.

I know white label customers of BP are being offered a chance to move their MT4 customers over to archer consultants, I do not know how you're setup at BP but it maybe of interest to you: http://leaprate.com/2015/01/archer-c...prime-clients/

I've spoken to archer consultants before on different matters previously, however my experience with them is limited so I cannot vouch for them.

    Baxx

I had been told on Tuesday of this week that by Wed at the hottest Thursday we ought to be receiving contact information to the Managing company.

And that then we can contact the Managing company right to be edued on what steps needed to be taken to get our monies back.

But it is now Friday and no email- news or contact Info has came.

So I talked to my account rep today and she informed me that the Direction company was working onpreparatory work before they would have the ability to talk

with customers. However, I had been given no time frame with this.

I have to assume the Management company needs to get a legitimate accounting before proceeding with calling clients. And that is what the holdup is.

At this time I am not really thinking about archer consultants offer.

I procured an edge account at pepperstone and'm currently looking for a 2nd broker to have the ability to divide my trading deposit involving them.

I am trying the best that I can to ensure I do not get caught in the exact same sort of scenario again.

Thank you for your input on the matter.
