Thread: Strategies for managing risk in trading

That makes sense, I think I have not been taking into account volatility by adjusting my stops.I will try what you mention and see if it improves my results. What other risk management strategies do they use?

Another strategy is to adjust the size of your position according to the risk of each operation. If an operation is more risk, it reduces the size of your position so that if things do not come out as expected, the loss is lower. This also allows you to assume a little more risk in operations with a high probability of success without compromising your capital too much.

Exactly, it is not the same to risk an operation with a high probability as in a more uncertain.Adjust your position size, do not play everything in each trace as if it were a poker game.

I will try to implement some of these strategies in my trading. It seems to me that improving my risk management is key to being more consistent and avoiding great losses.Thank you all for the advice.
