Thread: Indior: Movement at particular time of day

I'm not sure what I'm looking for is sensible ... but here goes. I would prefer an indior that offers market information depending upon the period of day and day of week on whatever currency pair.

For example, when the new york session closes, normally the eurusd takes just a small dip. It would be good to have an indior that shared with me, together with inputs to the number of time periods to consider and the moment, from 22:30 till 00:30, the eurusd closed lower throughout these times X percent of times... and would share the ordinary difference in pips.

Input wanted: the capability to exclude various times of this week, such as Sunday.
Input needed: the ability to set the number of time periods to consider.
Input wanted: the capability to place the time, including when possible, crossing from 1 day to next. (02:00 - 02:30 and 23:40 - 00:30)

display wanted: from and to time
screen wanted: movement up or movement down
display wanted: difference in number of pips, not just the open and shut, but the trading range throughout this interval
screen desired: number of time periods considered
screen desired: percent (for chosen times and number of periods) of times moved up and/or percentage of times moved down

I'm not a developer, so I do not know whether this is possible. And if that's the case it takes. For me, it seems pretty detailed.

The Reason Behind this indior. I'm analyzing currency pairs based on overall movement at various times of the day. Right now, I'm scrolling through weeks/months of MT4 and handwriting the moves. Would be helpful if this was automated.

You are a researcher, so here's empathy with your plight.

I've written the exact same kind of meandering, overcomplied explanation of what I wanted several times, all without an answer. It sounds easy to you -- the time period studied over x amount of days idea, for instance, you gave. Just, there's all of variations and the conditions relating to this idea you added for this. I've read a lot of developers will do a very brief program for free, and only if it interests them.
When I posted my requests, I then returned to my research and found I needed more studying to understand what it was I had found. That produced ideas such as yours, simplified the idea I thought I wanted, or rephrased my thought that a manual , a shorter research, did sufficient to progress my study to another level.
A few ideas you might try follow. 1 programmer is currently doing something. The first idea would be to select the threads of Hanover and ask about creating a parameter in 'candles' indior to set the period of time for every instance of microchart the indior produces. Then, if (and this is a big if, these really are busy, valuable people, and might get angry at me for suggesting you move there) the indior is updated to include this kind of idea, you can look at a few days' results for your time period at once.
Another idea would be to download onto an Excel spreadsheet a chart's data and subtract the data you do not need and compile as needed the data according to the factors you posted. I've read some people use Excel using MT4 done it myself nor had occasion to check into it.
