Thread: MT4 computer requirements

Hi,
only a quick question. Im considering picking up a computer to conduct metatrader 24/7. Right now I have a quite a strong laptop but I find im always on the go with it and can not leave it running my EA on metatrader. Im looking at a pc for about 100$.
Can a p3 1ghz, with 256 ram, 10 gig HD, and 32mb video card be strong enough to run Metatrader 4 with four 1min charts? No other app will be run by it than Metatrader. I dont want it to be freezing on me and taking. Can this work or am I too cheap?

I have one PC similar to this running one MT4 account. It is enough.

When you buy your computer, don't remove the MT4. Since your new computer may encounter a problem, as you suggested, you can easily pull out your laptop and continue trading. All the Best!

Link is enough to sustain 40 transactions. .

I try about 80 open transactions in demo account and it's begin to lag.... To not mention approximately hundred pending order.
