Thread: MLQ4 check if object selected

Appears I have a knack for wanting to do things that MLQ can not do...

I basically want to write a script to attach into a hotkey which will cycle colours/styles of selected items.

Largely to make it simpler to place readable fibs on the chart... I can not find any way you are able to find an index for the currently selected object though... I thought there might me a bool item property for it's selected status but no joy there either...

    anybody got any ideas?

    No can do.

You can iterate objects and check their type, color, fashion, etc. although not whether they're chosen.

I had a feeling that you were going to be the one giving me the awful news I'll only have to write one which sets all of them to different colors then... assume I could place their styles based on age too... might make it more readable...
