Thread: The SETUP and the Chuvashova Fork

Well thought out pleasant strategy, and thread.
Slight mistake on post #3 that tags continue low as LL and it should be HL.

Question: Is your E lineup always horizontal?

I will be interested in how you pull everything together. I found that you did need approaches that are confirming to get, and did some experimenting with CF fad lines a couple years ago.

    So far so great.

I like this approach but am I right in assuming that the 4hr fractal you show will paint after the candle. View picture.

    Hello cfudge,

a timeless fractal is constantly shaped by 5 bars, 2 prior to, the highest/lowest and 2 after...

Two great questions: (I have always heard more form my students than I have instructed them.)

Thanks for pointing out the error in post #3. (I have noticed that on post #3.)

Once I had been a teacher and made an error, I used to tell my students that I did deliberately, to see if they were paying attention. You clearly were. Thanks.

First is the E line constantly horizontal?

The answer is yes. The E line is horizontal from a SETUP'S E Fractal.

The search for a better entrance is ongoing along with the Chuvashova Fork will assist with that. We have not got there yet watch out for that when we do.
Fractals as denoted by the Fractal Arrows in MT4 will be the hints (Point T) of exactly what I describe as a SETUP. Bill Willi states that between each pair of opposing tips there's an Elliott Wave of some degree. The Fractal Arrows merely demonstrate the extremes of the wave. Another way is without involving anything Elliott is that two opposing fractals are the two opposing tips of a bullish SETUP and bearish SETUP.

That leads to the second query. Before the fractal arrow is inserted two bars 18, where a tip is, how do we know? Simple answer is that we dont, by searching for the SETUP which will confirm that tip before Bill Willi confirms it two bars following the event on the same time frame however we could get very sneaky within a potential fractal.

A fractal as Bill Willi informs us requires five bars to shape , two on the left and 2 on the rightside.
SETUP, takes us deep inside those five bars and we can observe a Fractal really creates with many more than five bars (on a lower time frame) and the trick could be identified that a lot sooner than waiting for the fifth bar of the conventional fractal.

Lets have a look at the counter trend again. When the price pushes under the Alligator line we can indicate that location on the chart with a green line for mention on time frames. (Note the pub at which the H4 fractal is confirmed as pointed out in the question.)

Now, we could go to a lesser time period (h1) and assess how the LL LH arrangement is doing.
Note how we have shown more fractals within the H4 chart and their possible significance.

Lets go to an even lower time period (M30.)

It starts to get exciting on the M30 scale. We can observe a E line which takes us following the M30 fractal forms.

That same E line encourages us to examine the 2 fractals between the M30 E along with the M30 T. Again, lets return to reduce time frames. The E line remains the only on the M15 and the M5 charts.

Once We assess the M15 and the M5 the same E line is in control. However when we reach the M1 chart...

    Between the M30 E and M30 T there's another smaller SETUP on M1.

We are really close to the fire now. As it is for M1 M5 M15 aM30 H1 and Finally H4, T is the Exact Same Tip.

Note in which the H4 green Alligator line is marked. You could just use it to get an entrance too.

So, a very long answer to a good question. I hope it's helpful.

On a negative note, I used to do Elliott Wave analysis, on lower and reduced time frames, to attempt to find if the significant turn is occurring.
I bought it and left a lot of cash on an options exchange, but it had been an amazing effort that required hours and hours of chart period and numerous actual time Elliott Wave counts. Exhausting.

This is lot easier. Learn how to spot the SETUP and receive within the fractal. Assess for a time period between T and E SETUP.
Utilize the Alligator to know what you are in Trend or Counter Trend and plan accordingly.

You might have noticed there is an H4 bearish Setup that I'm working with on those charts. We will get to that next.

I shall leave you with one more thought before I wrap it up.

Where's the first counter trend constantly loed if the market changes direction?

    Wab,

Thank you for an interesting system. Fractals, Alligator etc.. . Are new to me. . .If I must get up-to rate how do I begin?

I read this whole but I did not get hope I will understand that approch by appearing charts example that you just post and will bill.

Wab, Many thanks for sharing. I think its very clear explaination and way. Regarding your query, I think the counter trend loed when two fractals look below and above the alligator line only . I hope'm right

Read Bill Willi novels on studying Chaos. You can search on the internet.

Here is one link that is useful: https://www.ifcmarkets.com/en/ntx-in...-willi-indiors

we'll get lots of charts as we go on. I realize the concept is heavy at this point but it will become easier to comprehend with examples.

I'd think the first countertrend is Obviously loed (in MT4) on the 1 minute chart

Fellow traders, please don't waste your time. The matter is that I understand trading society and also know language. Chuvashov was not and isn't a trader in any way. He'd not made even a cent out of trading, he's making money from teaching others and selling his lessons, courses...
And Chuvashov fork is a system which was previously invented and explained by a great trader Tom DeMark and replicated by Chuvashov with errors that is why it's a BullShit worse that your attention.
