Thread: Does anyone really live from scalping on M1?

I've been scalping on the 1-minute chart for months and honestly, I have more doubts every day. Between the spread, the slippage and the speed it demands, I start to think it's more of a YouTube myth than a viable strategy to live off of it. Does anyone here really make money with M1? And if so, what broker do they use and how many hours a day do they operate?

I did it for a year, I won until I stopped doing it, it's not sustainable for the head or for the body, the stress took my sleep and every day it was a Russian roulette.

Scalping in M1 is like trying to hunt mosquitoes with a shotgun. A lot of effort for little profit. I prefer M15 with good risk management.

But you need ultra-fast execution, a VPS next to the broker server and zero emotions. And yet, your best friend will be break even.

Live from M1? Sure, and I also eat air and meditate levitate. Stop believing the stories that sell smoke in nets, brother.

There's a guy on Telegram who shows in and out on M1 all day, but he never shows the equity curve... that tells you everything.

Operating on M1 is not impossible, but it requires an accuracy that neither the operating rooms have. If you have slow fingers or bad connection, forget it.

Pure Scalping only serves large accounts or microcommissions. In girls accounts it eats you alive spread, especially in smaller pairs.

I am 24 years old, I live in Colombia and I have been doing scalping in M1 with positive results. I do well because I am very methodical, and I use FTMO to avoid risks with my capital. It is not for everyone, but it works if you are consistent.

M1 is Russian roulette for novices. Most dont even know how to read the order book and think breaking structure in M1 is a sign. So they lose.
