Hi. I want to share my way of analyzing the market, based on the teachings of Tom Williams, DS Goldsmith and Aleksandr Purnov.
Thank you for sharing, I will be attentive to your approach. I have always wanted to better understand the VSA, but it is not easy to find clear explanations. I hope that what you share here will help me to refine my operation.
Today I observed a high volume bar without progress in the price on H1. For me that is a sign of absorption, which could indicate a near reversal. I await confirmation with the next candle.
EUR/USD is in a key area. After yesterdays bass movement, I see a possible build-up in progress. The volume has increased, but the price has not dropped any further, which is usually a good track.
The problem for many with the VSA is that they are looking for magical signals and do not understand the context. It is not enough to see a "No Demand" or a "Stopping Volume", one has to interpret what happens throughout the environment.
Thank you for opening this thread. I have been learning VSA for a short time and I have many doubts, but I am interested in learning from someone who has studied thoroughly. Do you plan to upload examples with graphs?
I have detected a possible manipulation in the European session today. The price went down with increasing volume but then recovered with less volume: classic shakeout. I am long since 1,0760.
I don't understand how there are still people who say the volume in Forex doesn't work. The tick volume may not be accurate, but combined with the spread analysis gives very valuable information.
By the way, I'm using the TradingView platform with a free VSA indicator. It's not perfect, but it helps detect areas of interest. What tools do you work with?
Today I jumped the stop, but when I checked I saw that I rushed. The entry candle had no clear confirmation, and the volume was not the right one. Another lesson left me by the VSA: patience and precision.
