Thread: Is anyone else operating alone with price share on H1?

  1. #1
I have been operating for three months exclusively with price action in time H1. I left behind indicators, robots, signals and everything that made me miss more than I earned. Does anyone else work that way? I would like to share tickets, departures and key points of the day.

Yes, brother, I operate H1 with market structures and I'm doing much better.

Leaving the indicators is like removing a bandage. At first it's scary, but then everything makes more sense. What matters is the price, the rest is make-up.

Well, I tried only with PA and ended up going back to the RSI and EMA20. Not all that shines is gold.

Totally true, it's not for everyone, but in my case, after 2 years of walking from system to system, it was the only thing that gave me clarity. I now observe liquidity zones, traps, imbalances... and even setbacks have logic.

The problem is that many confuse price action with seeing a hammer and going in like crazy. PA is not candle patterns, its context.

I use H1 with H4 as a guide. I frame zones in H4 and expect reaction in H1. It has saved me from several precipitated inputs.

Exactly. I draw the zones on H4 and M15, and run on H1. What Im looking for is liquidity and manipulation. If I see that they pulled stops and left a long fuse, I expect confirmation and enter.

And how do you manage the SL? Because in H1 sometimes a stop of 20 pips is little and one of 40 seems a lot.

Good point. I adjust it to the last relevant minimum/maximum according to the structure. Sometimes it's time to eat stopovers of 35 or 40 pips, but if the R:R is 1:3 or more, it's worth it.
