Thread: Learning price stock

Hello forum members, Sorry for the rookie question, What is the best way to learn price action and what does it include exactly? I mean supports, resistances, candlestick patterns, etc. Any information about courses or material about PA will be very grateful. Thank you, Mazibee

If you want to learn price action, get ready to invest a lot of time and effort. Its not as simple as it seems, theres a lot of loose pieces that you have to put together. I keep in mind that youre entering a market where professionals operate that thoroughly understand the flow of orders and you dont yet, so the logical thing would be to try to go with them, not against them. Heres a PDF that can serve as a starting point, yes, youre going to have to read it about 21 times to click: http://tradeguider.com/mtm_251058.pdf Some basic concepts that yes or yes you have to understand thoroughly: support and resistance (structure)

Thanks for the PDF, it seems interesting. Learning price action is complicated, but I think its the only real way to earn money in this game. You cant rely on an indicator and expect decent signals. Indicators are fine as a complement, but if you dont know how to read the peeled chart, youre lost. Better spend time on understanding how the real price moves.

Forget about TradeGuider software, it's a tremendous smoke. But the ideas it handles aren't bad. The important thing here is that when you start to see where professionals buy and sell, it changes your mind. You have to understand the volume along with what the price does, and from there put together strategies. I recommend that you stay away from the forums for a while and get into the live graphics. There are too many negativity and people who just say "this doesn't work" without really trying it.

The action of the price is a myth. Soon they will make a documentary on Discovery Channel with the Myth Hunters. There are guys who only want your money. Better not spend on learning PA and pass the money directly. So you save years of frustration chasing fantasies. Maaddik Hugiis. IQ 70 and going up.

So you know how to name the body parts of the candles and the kind of formation they make, you're ready to be the next lighted trader. You don't need to think so much... and don't screw around... keep it simple.

Search YouTube, there are plenty of free quality videos about price action. As Da Vinci said, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

There are several threads around here of traders who really live trading with PA. If you look for real examples. Dont miss out on theories, I followed those who actually apply it.

There are price action resources everywhere. Too many. It will take you half a lifetime to read them all, and many repeat the same with different words. If you dont know what you want to apply to your system, youll be saturated. I started with Steve Nisons Japanese candle courses in the 90s. Then I followed Bulkowskis books and later with Joe DiNapoli. Do you want to know the truth? I only use 5% of everything I learned. The rest was noise. The important thing is to keep it simple and build on your own experience.
