Thread: Daily rupture strategy

  1. #31
For those who follow this thread, it would be useful for you to share more details about the EA settings.Have you tried different levels of TP/SL or Trailing Stops?I am seeing mixed results with the EA that I am testing, but I have not yet found the perfect adjustment.Thank you for sharing your experience!

I have been adjusting the EA and it seems that the best results come when I let the trend operations run.I do not close the positions too fast, I use the daily ATR as Trailing Stop.I am also testing with different currency pairs and it seems that some work better than others.I will continue to update the results here.

I am interested in seeing more information about how you are doing with those peers.Personally, I am having problems with the most volatile peers, such as GBP/JPY.What pairs are you most profitable with this strategy?

  4. #34
The pairs that are working the most are EUR/USD, AUD/USD and USD/JPY.GBP/JPY is a little more risky, especially with false ruptures, but with good risk management it is still possible to obtain good results.I recommend you start with the quieter peers and then try the volatile when you feel more comfortable.

Thanks for the suggestion.I've been operating mainly with EUR/USD and I am doing well, but I would love to try more pairs.I will definitely try AUD/USD and USD/JPY from now on.How long have you been using this strategy?

  6. #36
I have been using this strategy for about six months and I have adjusted some things along the way.At first I had some doubts, but after a few weeks of settings, I found that I could really generate good long -term results.Of course, you have to be patient and stay firm during consolidation periods.

Patience is key in trading, that's safe.I am also seeing that some operations do not go as expected, but with good risk management and being disciplined, I think I can make it work.Thank you for sharing your experience, you have motivated me to continue testing.

You are welcome!Keep the discipline and adjust according to what you see in the graphics. As I always say, this system is not perfect, but over time and practice you can achieve consistency.I will continue to share my results here to help others on the same way.Success for all!
