I am no pro but I'd like to ask some questions if that is ok. You seem to trade using only support/resistance and trendlines; I am guessing that is what you mean by supply and demand trading. In this instance you seem to have chosen a trade in a time once you believed the service line could be broken. Do you take reversals in?

As for walking in place I'd guess this is due to the holiday. I hope that I am not giving you misinformation here however I believe this happens as the large time players go on holiday and liquidity dries up. I'd imagine that things will return to normal after New Years in the latest.
